Terms of Service
Zoned Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern your use of Zoned.
They reflect the current product direction and should be reviewed again before a broader production launch with a published legal entity and jurisdiction.
Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using Zoned, you agree to these Terms of Service and to the current Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Eligibility and accounts
You must be able to form a binding agreement under the laws that apply to you. Some features require an account. You are responsible for the activity associated with your account and for keeping your sign-in methods secure.
User-generated content
Zoned lets users submit area ratings, comments, discussions, replies, caution reports, place suggestions and other community content. You remain responsible for what you submit and must have the right to share it.
Prohibited content and behavior
- Illegal, harassing, hateful, threatening or abusive content
- Defamatory, fraudulent or deliberately misleading content
- Content that invades privacy or exposes personal data without permission
- Spam, impersonation, manipulation or attempts to interfere with the service
Moderation and removal
Zoned may review, limit, hide or remove content and may suspend related accounts when content appears to violate these terms, creates product or legal risk, or requires moderation review. Some flows already route risky content into a moderation queue.
License to display submitted content
By submitting content to Zoned, you grant Zoned a non-exclusive license to host, store, reproduce, display, organize and distribute that content as needed to operate, improve and promote the service.
Accuracy and community information
Zoned is built around community information and subjective experiences. Reviews, ratings, comments and safety-related impressions may be incomplete, biased, outdated or wrong. They should help you think better about an area, not replace your own judgment.
Safety-related disclaimers
Any safety-related score, caution signal or neighborhood opinion on Zoned reflects community input and product interpretation, not a guarantee of safety, a crime prediction, emergency guidance or professional advice. Always use your own judgment and current local information when making travel decisions.
Intellectual property
Zoned, its branding, product design and site content are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except for your own submitted content, you may not copy, resell or exploit substantial parts of the service without permission.
Suspension, termination and changes
Zoned may suspend or terminate access, remove content, or change features, pages and data coverage at any time, especially while the product is still evolving as an MVP.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Zoned is provided on an as-is and as-available basis without warranties. Zoned is not liable for decisions made from community content, missing information, service interruptions, third-party failures or inaccurate neighborhood impressions.
Governing law
The legal operator name, business address and governing jurisdiction for Zoned have not yet been published in the codebase. Before production launch, this section should be updated with the correct legal entity and governing law.
